"I don't," He said and she pulled her ears back, head dropping a bit as she lost interest. But he was speaking again and her ears flew to attention. Her head whipped around to him and she jumped up in the small space. "But their parents are my uncle Collision and his wife Solliel." He said. "We're related!" Was the first thing out of her mouth, much too young for the close quarters. Surely he was going deaf from her yelling. "Collision and Soleil are my parents. I am from Valhalla." Her voice and facial expression were mystified. The rain outside seemed to be slowing up, the wind no longer as heavy. She could see a patch of blue sky in the distance. "Who are your parents?" Her tail was waving lightly now, the gal smiling excitedly at him. Her fur had died out a bit but not by much, it was just too moist for it to dry, even with the draft coming into the cave. |
