Inoki

"Inoki Piere," she said in response to the older woman's introduction, taking a few steps closer to get a better look at the leaf. It looked pretty normal, and she likely would have mistaken it for a normal plant leaf had Io not pointed it out to her. She listened with rapt attention as the older woman began to describe the effects of eating it, her eyes widening and lips pulling back in a toothy grin. While it wasn't as quick as she would've liked it to be, it was certainly a good starting point for any experiments she wanted to start working on in the future. Perhaps if it was mixed with something else the effects could be sped up? "How much does a wolf need to ingest to cause death? And how long would the drying process take?" Inoki had patience enough to wait as long as it was needed, but she'd need somewhere to keep the leaves safe as they dried, and for that she needed to find a place that she could call home for at least a short while. And if only a small amount was needed, she figured it would be easy enough to make small amounts to be used in multiple experiments, but then there was the matter of carrying it around with her. Hmm, she'd need to make some sort of satchel. "Is there an antidote once it's been eaten?" Part of her hoped no, but if that was the case she'd need to be extra careful when handling the plant so to not accidentally poison herself with it. |
