Grimshaw took his instruction easily and without a word of complaint, moving down the hill toward the herbivores that grazed unknowingly their last meal. Azure stayed low to the grass, watching carefully and occasionally taking a slow step further. It was not long before the yearling was off toward them, putting on his most frightening display of teeth and frightening the herd into stupidity. Their instinct told them to run to their herd, but he'd placed himself solidly in their path. The Champion took a brief moment to observe the boy's dance, nodded to himself, then broke out into a ground eating sprint from their rear.

The gazelle's were no less shocked by the sight of the second wolf, and while most of the stragglers broke off from their huddle to run in different directions, one remained frozen before him. Azure came up on it fast before it could recover and flee, swiping a hard blow with his heavy paw to it's cervical spine and watching as it dropped hard. "On your left!" He called to the boy, his head jerking sharply to the gazelle that was blindly attempting to sprint past Grimshaw away from death. Azure left him to it, trusting that the warrior was capable, and moved to chase down a third.
