shouldn't you know when someone's pretending
Inoki

Her short legs took her almost surprisingly quick towards the battlefield even though she was only moving at a brisk trot, having had been nearby when she heard someone call out for an opponent. Inoki was always interested in freshening up her fight skills, and maybe even learning a new move or two while she was at it, so she wasted no time in getting there before another did. When she arrived she was greeted by the sight of a beastly sized wolf, split almost perfectly half and half down the middle, one side far lighter than the other. The two companions did not go unnoticed, though she didn't spare them a second glance after initially looking them over. Inoki gave an almost fully serious nod at the other wolf, but the corner of her mouth lifted up in a partial smile, betraying the giddiness she was feeling at the prospect of getting into a quick spar. She could already feel the blood pumping faster through her body, and she stood to her full height, even if it was comically shorter than her opponents. "Ready when you are," she said, already sizing up the other wolf in preparation. As she was smaller, there was no use trying to force her opponent's body in the direction she wanted, so she'd have to outmaneuver them and maybe catch them off guard with a feint or two. |
