The tiger realizes that he is losing and redoubles his effort to rid himself of the two wolves. Fern dodges swinging paws and snapping teeth, working to keep the cat’s attention on her. She snaps and snarls, growls and lunges, all while weaving in front of the cat. It unseats Serenity and Fern growls at the big cat. It raises a large paw and brings it down toward Fern. The panicked beast swings in a wide arch and Serenity quickly slips in, latching onto the open wound on the tiger’s throat. She shreds the wound open, causing the creature’s eyes to widen as it stumbles sideways, blood pouring from the open wound. With a great crash the tiger falls to the ground and stills, the last of its life draining away with its blood.
Fern turns her aqua gaze to Serenity, tail wagging lightly as she mimics the earthen hued wolf and wipes the blood from her lips. Soft lavender meet bright oceans and Serenity makes a quip about meeting like this. The teasing tone is offset by the gratefulness Fern finds in her eyes. With a light, mock-hurt tone, Fern says, “What? And miss all the fun animals you find?” Tossing Serenity a wink, Fern looks to the body of the dead tiger and says, “So… heads or tails? Which end you want to drag?”
Fern has a female stoat companion named Puff. She is always nearby.
