kuroo could tell the other was more experienced than him. it was obvious in the way his eyes watched his movements. the subtle shift in weight and calculated shift away from his lunge colored him impressed. as a quiet grunt left his lips, kuroo's ears folded and chin turned to spy sharpened teeth flash toward his back paw. gritting his own jaws together, he continued to circle back toward grimshaw's haunches that had swooped away from him in an attempt to shove him. feeling the sharp pain of teeth grasping his paw, he began to stumble.
