A Blessing Or A Curse

After the events over the last season or so, Onyx couldn’t help but feel on edge or this sense of anxiety. She hadn’t really felt like her life was at risk, though there was the idea that the crystals that grew along her legs would in time encase her whole body. That was all over with now though. And as she over came it, it gave her more realization how it was in her blood to survive.

Pulling out the Opaque Sack of Gems, currency she had obtained over the course of the ooze, she went to peak inside of what all she had collected. Once her eyes looked inside the dark bag, a bright light shined from within. It almost blinded her, causing her to look up and away, her eyes looking forward towards the mouth of her section of the den she had almost been quarantined to. Out of the darkness came a shining deer, much larger than could fit inside the den but somehow it didn’t show struggle. It stopped before her, looking down while her paws were still on the sack of gems. Normally she would retaliate, but somehow the deer’s presence didn’t give her the urge to jump up and attack it. In fact it was quite the opposite, and she wondered if she was under some sort of spell. The Deer Dad’s Blessing came over her.
