Ready & Steady

He rolled his shoulders, ready to take on as many challenges as he could today. His skills were rusty, and he was intent on oiling his gears. After having been hidden away in the safety of a cavern while he waited out the weird events over the winter and beginning of spring, he was ready to face the world. Green gaze scanned the horizon for a moment, ears flicking at the sound of other fights and disputes going on in the area. The snarling and growling and smell of blood served to fuel him, and so he threw his head back and called for a challenger of his own.
