Stranger Tides [open]

Wide paws made an impression in the fine, blood stained dirt and lifted free. Onyx orbs bore out into the battle kissed arena with something akin to curiosity. The irony scent of blood infected her nose, some old, some new and tainted her with disgust. The overwhelming stench of wolves and death drenched this area. This was not a place of rest and prosperity, no matter how serine it might deceptively seem. This was a place to die, for corpses to rot and waist away into the earth... and Harlequin found it fascinating.
Her thick fur, stood up in an exuberant mohawk that followed the ridge of her spine, the stripes upon her coat were deceiving, making her appear more muscular and taller than she actually was. Thick musculature rippled beneath her flesh and her body swayed from side to side as she maneuvered through the empty fields of blood. A smile drifted across her maw at the thought of that Talutah bitch meeting her end here. Harlequin was only sad that she had not been the one to tear her trachea from its roots. It would have been nice to final silence that wretches tongue.
She approached the stagnant pool of water and lowered her heavy set maw, drinking greedily from the pool. She lifted her head, water pouring from her chin as the scent of wolf reached her nostrils. She wasn't sure if she ever wanted to become a part of another pack, Talutah had taught her that the species was in fact insane and rather unstable, but that didn't mean she had to be cruel, she was raised better than that, she would be respectfully kind until given a reason not to be.
