Leaf Me Be

Seere is outside the den… again. There is so much to see out here! How could she stay inside? The small pup is practicing her pouncing skills as she hunkers down, stalks close and… jumps! Ha! That leaf never stood a chance! Seere straightens up, proudly carrying the leaf in her mouth. It had been tumbling around and she had pinned it! She was getting better. A smile sits behind the leaf as she walks toward the den, ready to show her siblings the leaf she had caught. Suddenly, rustling can be heard from inside the den and Seere’s plans quickly change.

With the leaf still in her mouth, Seere moves to the side of the den’s opening. Hunkering down, the small pup wiggles and waits for someone to come through the opening. When a body appears, Seere launches herself, leaf and all, toward the red and black blur of her brother. Seere is determined to tackle her bigger brother and show him her leaf.
