He didn’t expected Theory’s gaze to be so knowing when she addressed him and Plague. She didn’t recognize his husband. He had invited his family to the wedding, and he had hoped he just hadn’t seen his family, but it seemed like she hadn’t been there. Since then Void did his best to split his time between Abaven and the Hot Springs with Plague. He almost felt guilty as Theory looked at him and Void hid anything he suddenly felt about the fact his family had been so absent from that pivotal moment in his life, and was grateful to his husband when he spoke up after Theory’s question. He’d assured him it would all be fine, and he took charge as the highly ranked wolf he was.

Plague explained eloquently, but looked to him as the point of the visit appeared. Void took strength in him and returned his blue and lavender gaze to Theory. ”I’d like to go live with him and our pups in Ashen.” He offered softly, as quiet as he ever was. Still, he was determined, he knew what he wanted and he knew where he needed to be.
