She smiled as Halo curled up against her, tucking her face against her shoulder, and Inoki wiggled around a bit to make sure they were both comfy in their respective positions. Her friend's fur was so soft, almost ridiculously so, and she couldn't help snuggling closer to get more of the warmth that radiated from her thick and fluffy coat. She wrapped a front leg around Halo's side as her friend began to speak softly, almost in a whisper, and initiated a gentle squeezing hug to comfort the other woman. "I'm glad to be able to provide that feeling for you." Her words were just as soft, not wanting to disturb the peace that was slowly beginning to settle over her.

Inoki wrapped her head around Halo's neck and shoulders, fully embracing her in a hug as she allowed her eyes to close, taking in a deep breath of air that smelled like lavender and Halo's unique smell. This would be the first time in a while that she slept curled up alongside another wolf in a very long time, and as she felt and heard her friend breathe Inoki decided it had been too long. The precious moments as two wolves slowly fell asleep next to each other was something she didn't have the words to describe, but it was one of her favourite things in the entire world. "I really needed this tonight. It was a good thing running into you today," she said softly, her words almost mumbled by the way her face was leaning into Halo's fur.
