Zee's lip upturned in a crooked smile as the pup tried his best to depart a consequence for losing. "No." She replied, amusement in her voice. "But if you win, you can have some extra snacks to chew on from the cellar." The weird, tiny grandchild seemed to have a knack for chewing on things, and while she didn't understand it Zee would love him for his oddities regardless.

She moved up to the starting line aloneside him, crouching down and wiggling her butt to ready herself for the race. "Three.. two.. one... go!" Levi broke quickly, she noticed, and Zee ran hard alongside him. It felt like it had been years since she'd had a real race - her paws ached, her limbs complained, but she pushed through it and ran regardless.
