Just relaxing

Iðunn looked up as she walked, mouth slightly ajar in wonder as she gazed at the immense size of the redwood trees. They were absolutely massive, and the expansive canopy blocked out so much of the daylight that everything seemed dim and moist under her paws. This would also make a good place to forage for moss and lichen, and perhaps the branches and trunks of the much smaller trees could be used for certain things around their camp closer to the wall. Her nose twitched as the scent of prey wafted her way, but as she'd recently eaten her fill it didn't cause her to salivate as it would have if she had an empty belly. But nevertheless she was curious, and had time to spare during her day, so she began to wandered idly in its direction, not wanting to spook it. Sometimes she liked to just watch the herbivores as they grazed on the grass, it was relaxing for her mind, and gave her an excuse to get out away from the others for a short while under the guise of searching for their next meal. With the carpet of moss on the ground Iðunn wasn't aware of the branch until it cracked as she stepped on it. The sound was loud in the silence of the forest, and she cursed inwardly at her misstep. Unless the creature was deaf, it definitely would have heard that. She continued forwards, hearing a dull thud from up ahead, and with a quick peer around one of the large redwoods she spotted the familiar sight of a reindeer, looking as alert as ever. The herbivore was huge, even by reindeer standards, and she huffed softly under breath, unsure of what to do next. Purposefully chase it off for a but of fun, or simply sneak away and let it be.
