When will I see you again

Artorias had snuck off to the barracks as quickly and quietly as he could following the battle with the tiger. He'd sent Basilisk off to fetch Lia to get him patched back up so he'd be in a presentable state for the Fatalis family at the birthday celebrations tomorrow and then hurried himself surreptitiously across the Armada lands to reach the familiar barracks, shutting himself inside and dropping the bottles of wine (carefully) near the door. He'd been using a small scrap of fur from one of the beddings to hold to his bleeding leg in an attempt to stem the flow of blood until Lia arrived, which was how she found him when she came in.
He greeted her with warm fire-kissed eyes and a brightening expression, overjoyed to see her again. Lia looked healthy, much more so than when he'd first bought her. She'd put on a healthy amount of weight, no longer looking quite so fragile, and there was a liveliness about her he hadn't seen before. The way she immediately greeted him as "My Lord" did disappoint him a bit; he had secretly hoped that maybe Briar would have some effect in breaking her older habits of forced servitude, but it seemed like her time in the Armada may have only reinforced those notions in her head. Still, he welcomed her in with a warm smile, grateful she was the one coming to his aid. "Hello again, Lia." He nodded and held his bleeding foreleg up for her. "Please do. I don't think he Fatalises would like me bleeding all over their home." While she began her work, Artorias looked her over once more, up close this time. "You look good. Healthy, I mean. How has life in the Armada treated you?"
