kuroo smirked in the friendly way that he did. "eh, i'm more of a hunter anyway," he said as he shrugged his shoulders. shuffling his paws so that he could get a better footing in the sand, he could say that he enjoyed their little scuffle. nothing like a warmup to get their adrenaline going. tilting his nose up slightly to sniff the air, he couldn't even begin to tell where the closest source would be. the wind had died down and not a big of humidity lingered.

distracted by the thirst he felt drying his throat, he nodded in astro's direction. "a pleasure astro, the name's kuroo," his accented voice said in a lazy way as his tongue lolled from the side of his mouth. noticing the paw that lifted toward inland, kuroo silently agreed. "ya, i bet we could if we head that way," he agreed as he turned his body to face the direction astro pointed in. "don't mind me joining you, do ya?" his pale gaze shifts to the darker coated male with another smile.
