My Gratitude

Chimera was a little surprised when Dalila chose to lay against him. He was glad of it and repositioned slightly so that they would both be more comfortable. In repositioning, his larger body framed her own, his hind legs curled behind her rump. He was comfortable enough and she didn't seem to be complaining, so they stayed that way. The woman thanked him for the kind words and he rumbled in response, but he wasn't done just yet.

After Chimera told Dalila of his plans, she was silent for a long while. He wondered what was going through her pretty little head and almost asked, but she eventually spoke. Dalila accepted the shift in rank gracefully, just as he hoped she would. Again, to his surprise, she reached up and placed a kiss upon his chin. Ears perked as he looked down at the mottled woman. It had been some time since he'd lain with one of the ladies and the little affection bestowed upon him was nice. Did he want it to stop there? No.

"You deserve to be a queen," he spoke in low tones as he looked down at the woman beside him. Bringing one paw up, he lightly took Dalila's chin and brought her blue gaze to meet his pink and milky white eyes. "Shall I show my newest queen just how much I appreciate her?" His tongue snaked out to slide over her chin and lower lip. There was an undeniable heat in those mismatched eyes. It should have been very clear just what he wanted. If she didn't, however, he wouldn't press her. Because of their past, she'd always been skittish around him. He hoped by now she would have realized that he'd changed and that he wouldn't harm her.
