moving south hadn't exactly been his plan, but they needed to cover as much ground as possible. it would be necessary to ensure they looked everywhere before admitting defeat. except, kuroo was determined that they wouldn't. as the hot sun overhead warmed his back, he looked for a place to cool off. wandering beneath the shade of the dense forest, his ears tuned in to the sounds of a river. changing his direction to head that way, he was pleasantly surprised when he saw a wolf with a cart laying out a net.

he had seen devices like this before back home for fishing. oh and fishing was his favorite. already feeling his mouth begin to salivate, he approached with friendly caution. "fishing is one of my favorites! need some help?" kuroo called out as he drew closer to the cart and eyed the rocks the male was rolling into the edges of the net. this was a different method than he'd done before, but new was never a bad thing.
