Balthier had also been away a couple times here lately to travel to Boreas and bring back kills for the stores that The Long Night had diminished. It had forced him to grow and miss Azzurra heavily, though when he came back to Fenmyre he hadn’t changed.

Azzurra picked herself up to leave and Balthier called out, "Azzurra." In quiet tones, only a hint of desperation. It seemed he’d be losing this imaginary battle, pointless yet maybe inevitable, "Stay." She must not have been able to understand him, as he went nights without talking to her he wanted her to break to him. He was not supposed to be the weak one, but it was what she brought out in him.
