They moved forward and waded in the water together, Duchess didn't catch on to the girl's changed behavior but she also didn't really care much. Having someone else to hate her didn't ruffle her feathers, or at least not these days.

They went out deep into the shallow water, walking the length of the banks while the land here spiraled and didn't get so deep at least where they were fishing. Duchess kept an eye out for the fish and it seemed like they could both match each other's steps despite her more stand offish behavior. As the net filled up, she started to move closer to shore but still picked up fish as she spotted them.
