Glad that their trudging through the sandy waters would be over shortly, Celeste nodded in acknowledgment as Duchess agreed. Repositioning herself so that she was facing more toward the shore, she began a slow clamber over. As she emerged from the shallow depths, she managed to snag a few more of the finned creatures. Watching their shimmering bodies flop around frantically was almost comical.

Careful not to let the net fly open, Celeste followed Duchess' movements farther up onto dry land. Making sure the net was dug in neatly to the dirt, she turned to look at their squirming catch. Proud of both of them, Celeste smiled at Duchess. "Not too bad if I say so myself," she chimed as she picked up a paw to count how many they had gathered.
