Lookie What I Got You!

Stolas was spending his day relaxing by the entrance to the palace, letting the cool coastal breeze wash over his fluffy puppy fur while he busied himself with playing with some sort of beetle that had unwisely decided to crawl its way into their home. Tiny black paws batted the roly-poly around on the dirt, trying to study it and figure out how it was able to curl itself up into a little hard ball like that. Then the sound of his little sister's voice caught his attention and Stolas lifted his dark gray eyes to find Seere coming back to the den with... what on earth was she carrying? Was that a massive stick?! Startled and delighted, Stolas batted the bug away and hurried over to greet Seere halfway, looking over the absolutely gargantuan stick she was trying only semi-successfully to carry.

"Whoa, where did you find this?!" he asked, wagging his tiny tail so fast it was almost spinning in a circle. Stolas loved anything that looked or seemed unusual, like bugs that curled up into balls or gigantic sticks that didn't seem like they could exist! He saw Seere nearly topple over while carrying it, and while his sister was a klutz on the best of days, that stick certainly wasn't doing her any favors. "Here, let's try this," he said while coming over to stand beside Seere. He took one end of the stick in his jaws and lifted, waiting for Seere to do the same so they could see if they could carry it in tandem. "Geef eht ah trah!"
