Briar was resting in her den, getting a bit of a mod day nap in, when the sound of small paws bounding through the den and voices near by pulled her out of her light sleep. She had been hard at work though the morning, spending a good amount of time on training, patrols, and doing what she could to make sure everything was in place not only for her move but to make sure the pack was in a good spot when she did finally transition to her new life in Auster. She knew they were in a much better spot now that the long night was over and everyone was healthy again, but the protective, family oriented nature in her still couldn’t help but fret that something might go wrong. After all of that work in the morning though she felt like she had earned a nap.

However, her little nephew apparently decided that there were more important things than naps and he burst into her den, making her blink her eyes open with surprise as she looked up at the blue and black boy with a smirk. "Oh did he now?” she said with a chuckle when Basilisk mentioned that her father was the one that sent the energetic boy to her. Sirius had found some creative and subtle ways to torment her in the days leading up to her move and this very much felt like one of those instances. She hummed as she pretended to think over his question before quickly reaching out a paw and hooking it around his mid section before he could squirm away, grinning as she scooped him up and pulled him into a cuddle. "You stepped right into the nap monster’s lair! Now you’ll pay for disturbing my slumber!” she said in an overly dramatic voice, giggling all the while.
