You didn't have to cut me off

His heavy paw steps left a clear trail behind him in the dirt, claw marks and all as he wasn't bothering to properly pick up his feet. He had no fear about being followed, not even if they meant him harm, as he felt pretty good about his skills to ward off any would-be attackers. He had the scars to prove it. Raylan dipped his head down to sniff at the rich coppery scent of blood where it lay spilled upon an empty patch of dirt. It wasn't the only bloodstain in this place, and he knew enough to know that this was some kind of place where fights took place. Well, if that was the case, he may as well indulge. He tipped his head back to call out for a challenger; anyone would do, he wasn't fussy in the slightest. Big wolf, small wolf, young, old wolf, he didn't care. A fight was a fight, no matter who it was between, but depending on who showed up he'd change his tactics accordingly. Sitting back on his haunches with ears pricked forward, Raylan waited patiently, taking the time to use a front paw to smooth at the ruffled fur on his cheeks. He figured he may as well make himself look more presentable while he waited, not that he was a stickler for a perfect-looking appearance. But it was nice to gussy himself up now and then. |
