Work Up an Appetite

Balthier too set up his defenses in every step the larger woman took towards him. His reflexes quick in response, he was able to avoid the swipe from her sharp claws but with that draw back, he pulled into himself giving the woman clear ground to grab him by his scruff. He could feel she wasn't doing the most harm she could, and he didn't judge her for it. In fact he was grateful to know that they wouldn't come back on their word of a friendly raid.

With the top of his neck in the woman's grasp, Balthier had also considered a not so aggressive counter. His front legs rose off the ground while the woman had hold of his scruff, and he attempted to push upward into her face and throat with the base of his skull by the force he could provide through his back legs.
