Work Up an Appetite

Manea was impressed with the young man's quick thinking as he dodged to the side to avoid her claws, but she was at least able to get a grip on his scruff. She held tight, but not so tight that she cut the skin more than slight pin pricks from sharp teeth. It kept him close, but considering his shorter height it did also mean that it was nearly impossible to dodge when he pushed up into her with his skull hitting into her throat as he pushed up with his back legs. It hurt a bit and made it hard to breathe, but she held onto his scruff for a bi longer so that she could shift her weight onto her back legs. She only let go of his scruff just a moment before she reared back, hopefully ensuring that he wouldn't have time to move out of the way as she lifted her forepaws off the ground and went to give a hard shove into his shoulder and the base of his neck. She threw her weight into the motion, but she didn't use her claws, only intending to push him to the ground so she could hopefully pin him down to end their part of this raid.
