dad first, mum next

Since he'd bested his sire, Levi figured it was time he ought to challenge his Mother. She wasn't a fighter, everyone knew it, but she'd always made a point of bragging about how fast she was. Intent on bringing her down a peg or two, Levi tipped his head back and called out for her once he'd finished roughly putting together a racetrack. A straight here to there, that didn't offer much time or space to dally about. Maybe after he beat both his parents he'd ask for a better rank, a pup like him deserved one right?

Till then though, he had to wait and like any pup patience wasn't a virtue he'd spent much time working on.
