puppy spars! (v seere)

The evening warmth cradles the pup in its loving embrace and Seere finds herself slowly falling asleep on the sandy beach. The endless push and pull of the waves relax the pup even further. When she is right on the verge of drifting off into dream land a call for Seere has her eyes flying open. One moment she was ready to sleep and the next the monochromatic pup is springing to her paws and racing off toward the call. She knows that voice and when Venom’s form comes into view, the small pup squeals in happiness and runs even faster.

The fact that her aunt is sitting the middle of tamped down ring is completely lost on the pup as her gray form streaks toward her Auntie’s long legs. Seere attaches herself to Venom’s front right leg and giggles madly. The small pup tilts her head back and allows her mismatched eyes to find her aunt’s gaze. Small tail thumps the sand joyfully as Seere says, “Auntie Venom! I missed you! How are you today?” Venom had been to the pups recently but, in a hyper puppy’s world, being gone for more than an hour is a lifetime. With all four legs wrapped around Venoms one, the pup sits happily on her aunt’s paw and waits to find out why she was called.
