Our new lives

Lia was a wolf of routines, so it wasn’t long before she found herself falling into a new one. Many things in her world were new and strange, and nighttime was reserved for loneliness. But the morning sun always returned each day, and she would rise and start her meal in the fireplace of the room. Having all the cooking utensils she needed stored on a table in one side.

Breakfast for Briar today was a light soup, that was slowly warmed, and prepared, before she grabbed the handle delicately in her maw and made her way down a floor, and along the corridor. Knocking gently at the door with a paw, and waiting for Briar's voice to welcome her, before letting herself in.

She settled the soup beside the bed, freeing her mouth. “Good morning, My Queen” she said, as she went to open the curtains, and fluff the pillow behind Briar as the other lady sat up to eat her breakfast.
