As long as Sirius said it was alright, Halo would be happy to show the man her garden. The wolves of the Armada were a more warlike people, and (other than Sedna), they didn't really appreciate the work she'd put into it. The Warlord did, but he didn't really... understand it. And that was okay, different strokes for different folks. But still, it was nice to have the company of another healer, of someone who would get it. Halo had put so much work into it, the idea that there was someone who'd understand... yeah, that was cool.
A home, a family... she was still getting used to that. She was getting used to the idea of having a family. Halo continued browsing the ground for herbs. Trillium would be so useful, and awfully good to find. It was a rare one, though, and Halo wouldn't get her hopes up. "Did you grow up there?" Maybe it was too intrusive, but the pale healer couldn't help herself. A moment of living vicariously through someone who'd come up through an environment she couldn't even dream of. There was something wistful in her tone. Family. Who would have thought. Maybe she could view the members of the Armada with the same warmth. Maybe.
In a particularly moist spot in the soft earth, something caught Halo's eye. With long, bouncing steps, the girl approached the plant. "Spirit, come look!" Excitement. Genuine excitement. "This is trillium, I'm actually surprised we were able to find some," her tail wagged. With her gaze bright, the girl looked to the much taller man. What an excellent find.
