Ashmedai was always up for a good tussle. Not that he was feeling old or anything, but if he'd been younger, he'd have run away with the pirates and raided every existing pack. It just so turned out that he liked having consistent meals and a soft place to sleep. It seemed that Sparrow intended to run her pack just like a band, which was fine and dandy, but, again, Ashmedai was a character of leisure. He heard the call and took a good while stretching and rolling his shoulders before he made his way to the cursed bear woman who had somehow womb-trapped his family- but hey, she didn't bother him and offering a raid was a good enough reason to not dislike her, crazy or not.
