Usagi felt his attack hit, a singular well-placed jab to the wolf’s hind limb. Upon it rendering him wobbly, he was attempting to lean in to take advantage of his off-balance momentum to further his offense when the russet-patched wolf turned and rammed his skull into his ribs. With a sharp inhale in masked pain, Usagi used the sudden pivot of his stumble to stop himself from colliding to the earth completely, his left side bent closer to the earth than the right. In a fierce and quick twist, the wolf aimed to use his bent left hind leg - the one with more power built up - to swiftly spray a screen of dust in the wolf’s face , assuming it was facing him and lower to the ground. In the moment, where the haze muddled their vision, Usagi aimed to whirl his entire back to face him and jam his skull into the taller male’s cheek, almost needing to rise on his hind limbs momentarily. He knew it would be a risky move, considering he could get knocked over in that second, but he hoped the dustscreen and the subsequent swift check of the male’s cheek would offer a rather harmless but just as unespected move like before.
