Azure had been putting off seeing Recluse again, too thankful she hadn't approached him to claim her side in their deal before the Long Night. He'd accepted her proposition before he'd reconciled with Hana, and now they were engaged with children and.. well, screwing Recluse might screw all that up. It was at his father's behest that he approached her borders now, not as someone who needed from her a favor, but from one alpha to another alpha regarding their respective packs.

Recluse was heavily nocturnal and so he approached during the night, doubling his discomfort as he'd not quite gotten over his fear of the dark after the ooze had touched his mind. He threw back his howl and called for her, settling down patiently to await the albino woman's arrival.
