Veigar gave a murmur of acknowledgment as the stranger greeted him, giving a brief nod. They didn't waste much time getting into things, Raylan instinctively hunkering down as he sized him up. He mirrored his stance, his own movements more intentional rather than something that came naturally. "Sounds good to me," Veigar agreed easily. At the very least he had to make his way back home. He was more interested in practicing his fighting techniques than going all-out, and he hoped his opponent had the same thing in mind.

Suddenly Raylan charged toward him, and his instinct was indeed to dive away from him. Veigar jerked to his own left with a quick step, and as expected Raylan's head rammed hard into his right shoulder. It made him stumble, though he managed to stay upright, pushing his own slighter weight hard into Raylan's attack. His jaws unhinged slightly and he made to rotate his hindquarters to the left, hoping to sink his fangs into the crook of Raylan's neck, where it met his shoulder, putting his weight into it.
