A heavy clatter echoed through the cave system followed by a sharp, "Fuck!" as Tyrian stumbled over -and sent flying- what he assumed was loose rocks. Why assumed? Because it was pitch black and he couldn't see anything. Tyrian had been exploring the cave system for a few hours now. He hadn't seen light for quite some time. That, coupled with the passage's confusing twists and turns, should have been enough to force him back to the surface, but Tyrian's curiosity was damn near insatiable. He had once nearly frozen to death trying to cross a magical ice bridge in a snowstorm. This? This was nothing compared to that. The one thing that might keep him from reaching the end was that this time he didn't have a gorgeous traveling companion to egg him on. "" |
