Tyrian was up to no good. Sparrow had informed him of her willingness to raid and well, it was now open season. At some point it might be to his advantage to sneak into Pirate territory. Why exactly he hadn't decided yet. Maybe someday they'd have goods worth stealing or maybe he'd make a fireside contest out of shaving sleeping pirates. Who knew! Regardless of what he used it for, Tyrian had a good feeling about this cave. He'd entered the cave system in the Gulley not knowing where it would go. To his delight the main tunnel seemed to lead in the right direction. Naturally he'd climbed on in and taken off at a good clip down the tunnel. His success quickly petered out, however, as the tunnels became more narrow and winding, and he kept reaching dead ends. At some point - long ago, he hoped- the tunnels had been unstable. Old cave ins were the most common problem that forced him to double back. By chance one such cave in wasn't ruled out immediately thanks to a tiny beam of light shining through. It illuminated a small passage through the rubble that looked just big enough for a Tyrian-sized wolf to pass through so naturally he stuck his head in. The other side was a much bigger room lit by a small crack in the ceiling above. It showed promise so Tyrian hauled himself in. About halfway through he realized it was too narrow and tried to crawl backwards -and promptly found he couldn't. Well, hell. "" |
