Pressure

One fight, one opportunity to bring another fighter into the Aerie fold to protect them after they'd gone, was not enough. Long after his last fight Eligos remained within the bounds of the battlefield, alone and meditating. One might even call it brooding but it was definitely meditating. Kida and Cypher waited patiently with him, though Kida's remaining pups tumbled and played a short distance away. It would be good for them to watch spars and learn, as well - he had the idea that he could send them to allies and friends as they grew up, like he had with Deus, and they could act as bodyguards and symbolic bonds within other packs and loners. Otherwise, they would soon go on their way on their own, so either way it would be healthy for them to learn to fight, and fight well.

The pups were winding down a bit when Eligos rose to his own paws and called out again for another opponent. Tired, but not too tired, they'd be more settled and pay attention.
