He laughed for the first time in seasons, it felt nice, to be so readily accepted by his sister and to feel a little spark of joy for the first time in a long time. He leaned into her gently for a moment, breathing in the moment. Her voice, her sweet voice, reached him and Emile nodded slowly. "Lavender."
