puppy spars! (v saia)

Plague had told the kids to expect calls and challenges from their Aunt Venom, the empress. They were old enough to wander most of the islands on their own now, at least under the hidden supervision of the rest of the pack. She had heard Venom call out for Sitri and she would be prepared for when it was her turn to face the empress. She did not feel like she was ready for fights in general, but that didn't hinder the confidence she showed outside of those feelings.

She trotted out to meet Venom, a circle drawn out in the ground though she wouldn't know what the challenge would be. She nodded respectfully at her as they met, though still felt her as a strong part in their family. "Aunt Venom." She stood outside of the sparring circle, maybe waiting for further instructions. Venom was much larger than her as an adult, but would also always be bigger than her. It was a bit intimidating.
