Sota rarely traveled far from home but today was apparently an exception - though it wasn't far into his journey that he began to question if he should have left at all. The recent rain showers rendered the ground soft and muddy nearly everywhere he went, and the nearby creek was running dangerously high, threatening to flood. Veering away from the potential danger, Sota continued further southwest. His attention was captured eventually by the thick forest of oaks and maples. Oaks in particular were known to be good for climbing, and Sota scoped the place out before making a move. One swift move had him leaping onto a low-hanging branch and clinging precariously to it before he moved to the next, moving as easily as any wolf did on land.

Eventually he scaled to nearly halfway up an oak and moved on to the second, then a third. But after a bit of scaling the treetops, the scent of a wolf reached his nose and he found himself scanning the forest floor. Here it was dimly lit, light choked out by the thick vines that covered the treetops like a canopy. The figure of somehow could be seen below though, and Sota furrowed his brow in worry at how she slumped down, looking defeated. Overcome by the need to help, he carefully navigated lower until he was perched carefully on a low hanging branch. "Hello? Are you alright down there, miss?"
