Sea creatures

This place was like nothing at all she'd ever seen before and she was thrilled to find this little waterlogged forest. Merrily she wove between the trunks of these strange mangrove trees, hopping from one small little island of dirt and mud to the next, eventually simply wading in the shallow water that separated each tree. The kind of plant and animal life here was fascinated - she felt tiny fish zipping by her toes as bugs drifted along the surface of the water, which was mostly still save for the movement of fish through it, as well as her own paws. A laugh of delight fell from her lips as she moved further out, finding a deeper section of water that lay further from any trees. The sand here was undisturbed, at least until she passed through and the water grew murky beneath her. For now she was content to enjoy the sights, though she was beginning to feel the telltale signs of hunger, only exacerbated by the sights of fish drifting along lazily between the roots of trees.
