Gracing a muddy patch of smushed dirt, the splotched youngster lazily dipped a toe in the water. Taunting the fish that darted in and out of the roots from the trees surrounding him, hr laughed to himself. When a fish would get close with bulging eyes staring at his digit curiously, Kuroo would pluck it from the water. The surface would ripple and a splash of murky water would envelop the aquatic creatures. It was something fun to do to pass the time until he grew hungry.

One of his ears flicked toward a quiet rustle of water whooshing around a larger body that surely wasn't a fish. Raising his pale gaze toward his surroundings, he peered into the dim shadows to see a younger girl looking intently at the wetness around her. A fishing buddy perhaps? Curious, Kuroo hopped up onto his paws and picked a careful jumping path over the large root growth toward her. Once he was close enough, he perched carefully on a wider root to smile at her. "Would ya enjoy some company? Could go for a couple of fish myself," he spoke with a thicker accent than most but at least his common tongue was understandable.
