Life had gotten busier these days. What with his recent recruiting and general camaraderie with the other pirates. It was a new sort of lifestyle that he wasn't quite used to yet. Some days, he needed to spend alone with his own thoughts to recharge. Today was one such day as he lounged around the pirate ship. Tucked back in the deepest parts of Time's Cavern, Gilgamesh found solace. The quiet lull of water dripping from the ceiling put him in a near snooze when a sound of crumbling rocks caught his attention. Lifting his head with ears perked toward the sound, he waited. If it happened to be a rat, there was no need for him to be alerted.

After a few minutes, he realized the sound was much larger than a rat. Tilting his pink nose into the air, he could smell a faint scent of wolf. An unfamiliar wolf to boot. Curious and on alert, the now long-legged brute stretched up onto all four paws. Giving his mottled fur a shake, he hopped up onto the ledge of the rotting wood ship to peer around. At first glance, in the dim light, he didn't notice much. There was no obvious rustling coming from anywhere that he could tell.

Deciding to lazily make his way down off the ship, he found solid ground with a splash beneath his paws. Off to the side, a bit of light filtered through from a tunnel opening. From what his ears could make out, the struggle seemed to be coming from that direction. Curious, Gil made his way toward the tunnel that was almost too small for him to fit. Thankful for his lean frame, he was able to slink in with some ease and make his way toward the ever-strengthening scent. Definitely a pack wolf from what he could tell of the myriad of scents floating off of him, but there was also a tinge of Sparrow as well.

More curious now as his yellowed eyes made out the dark-grey form of a wolf who appeared stuck, Gil stopped a few feet away with his head lowered so it wouldn't hit the ceiling. "Bit of a predicament you've got yourself in," he mused with a mischievous smile. "I could help you, but you'll have to tell me what you're doing here first," Gil rumbled as he took a seat on the chilly stone floor of the tunnel.
