It was high time to step down, and so she settled at the top of the hill, tucked away in the half-built tower with Red, enjoying a little alone-time while she waited for Ardyn to arrive.
“Retired… I won’t know what to do with myself, love. Plenty of what to do with you, though.” The second with a faint smirk before a beat of wings heralded Lyr’s approach, and thus Ardyn’s arrival.
She nuzzled under Red’s jaw before stepping apart to sit, waiting as her very tall son stepped into sight, ears perked, eyes both nervous and expectant. There was little doubt about the context of this call; her son was astute and observant, and hadn’t missed her various preparations for his rise.
She stepped forward to embrace the tall young man, amused that she had to rise on her hind legs to hug her boy. Had two years really flown by that fast?
She stepped back and looked him over.
“You’re ready, I think, to take your place at the head of the pack. I’m ready to retire. Maybe I would have ruled longer… but that plague and all it came with… sapped me a lot more than I’m willing to admit. Are you ready to lead?”

At first glance, Aurielle's coat is pure white.. Her fur has an iridescent quality (like moonstones) where the fur shimmers different colors under various angles of light: in this case, the colors shown by rainbow moonstones. Not one hair on her hide is a solid unnatural color, but, ya know, it's really hard to convey that in still art :P
Aurielle's English is heavily laden with an Irish, Swedish mixed accent.
Her family is allowed to crash all her threads, Private and Open.
As of Autumn Year 14, Aurielle glows with a bright blue-white bio-luminescence in her fur, and bears a marking over her left eye - see profile and reference.
