So, here they were. Tsunami's paws carried her through the bamboo though she dared not move to far into the maze yet she was up, the moon was high in the sky and painted the bamboo stalks in a silvery light. Normally Tsunami would have been asleep at this point but she'd found her mind unable to stop racing. Kimuy and even her harness had been left behind, for the first time in a long time she had settled into a feeling of security. If her cousin or anyone else tried to come and take her back on his behalf she knew they'd have more wolves they'd have to contend with, though the pack was fresh and she didn't know most of the members her call would not go ignored.

And yet she couldn't stop the roiling doubt. She had left who she was behind, a Preator no more she had chosen her own name, chosen her own path, hell she'd even left Boreas behind but here she was among strangers and deep down she still only wanted one thing. To be wanted back. Tsunami sighed, she wandered only a bit further into the bamboo before settling on the ground and turning cranberry gaze towards the night sky. At least the sky was familiar.
