The festival was unlike anything Ducky had ever seen before. The smells, which had initially drew them here, were strange, but they made her mouth water. The sights were even weirder, an onslaught of strange colors from both booths and wolves, but most of all, it filled the young cub with excitement. The voice of a stranger called out to her, drawing her in.Prizes, it promised, and all she had to do was throw a ring over a stick? The girl watched with hunger in her eyes, contemplating her next step. Should she try? Was that wise? She turned to ask her sister, but Bones was nowhere to be found. Her dark brow furrowed. Without another thought Ducky stepped up to the booth, took a ring between her jowls and swung it toward the sticks, hoping that it might find its mark. |
