Ring Toss

The prospect of a carnival was exciting, enough to tear Zee from her den and all but beg her warlord husband that they might attend. It was reminiscent of the firefly festival he'd taken her to when they were both much younger - the place they'd won her horns, his claws, and where they grew their affection for each other slowly. Sirius had escorted her to the games booths to play while he'd gone to sign up for the fighting tournament, and while she waited his return she figured she'd try her paw at ring toss.

The attendant waved her over for her turn and Zee stepped shyly up to the rings. She grabbed a colorful one in her maw, feeling it's weight and scanning the various pegs to decide where she would aim her throw. With a toss of her horned head she released it, watching it carefully to see where it might land.
