Cupid's Arrow

The proud prince was mostly here at the promise of the fighting tournament.  Mort and Kotori would surely be able to best anyone they came up against.  Heck, they’d even beat dad and Azure if they ever got to a match-up.  It would make sense after all that both should end up in finals.

Kotori pranced up to the dart game, eyeing the setup.  It seemed simple enough.  Carefully he picked up the dart with his teeth, trying to make it nice and balanced.  He winked to the coydog, twisting his head around, the muscles tensing up then held for a few seconds before swinging his head back to face the balloons and letting the dart fly.  He couldn’t aim all that well this way but there were enough balloons surely he’d hit one?  Kotori imagined it would look pretty snappy if he was able to pop one that way.  No one had to know it would be luck.
