Duck Pond

Revenant was in awe at everything at the carnival! The booths and stalls were so tall and brightly painted! There were so many different kinds of wolves and dogs and other creatures he didn't know the names of! He could smell frying foods and sugary treats all around him. The fearless boy took the lead of the small pack of his brothers, bounding ahead as much as his mother would allow before he'd be corralled back into the group with a grumble. Suddenly his mother was ushering him over towards a game booth, and when he peered through the gate and saw the floating duck toys in the pool, he immediately wanted to go in and play. The gate opened and Revenant rushed in, leaping through the water to pounce on one of the floating wooden ducks—only to end up floating along with it. "Mama! I need help!" he called to Aliana, who first delicately pried the boy off of the duck, then flipped it over for him. Revenant yapped happily, his tiny tail wagging while he waited for the coydog to tell him what he'd won.

NPC:

The hound-like coydog dances in excitement at your win, his long tongue lolling out. ”Let’s see what you won!” he yelps, flipping over the duck.

He hands you a really neat looking slap bracelet. Fun!
