stuck in the middle with you

Tyrian could only imagine what he looked like from behind as he braced his feet on the stone and tried to haul himself backwards. He grit his teeth and pushed with an effortful groan which cut off immediately when he realized the noises escaping his lips were like that of a woman in labor. Normally he would laugh at that sort of silliness but in this instance things were a bit too real so he just slumped forward with an irritated huff. There was a joke somewhere to be made about big things getting stuck but now didn't seem like a good time to be making them, especially with no audience. The lack of witnesses was both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand there was no one around to heckle him for his choices. On the other, there was no one around to help him if he truly needed it. Or was there? The moment Tyrian heard the man's pawsteps he made up his mind that no, he didn't want any witnesses. Alas, here one came anyway. "Ah fuck," he muttered to himself just as a shape broke through the darkness. The man seated himself a short distance away before speaking. By scent Tyrian could tell he was a pirate, but he couldn't say he'd seen him before. A new recruit, maybe. Good for Sparrow. "A bit, yeah." Tyrian, being the cheeky sort, shrugged his free shoulder and gave a nonchalant wave of his free paw before continuing in a purely conversational tone, "Oh, you know, just minding my own business." He glanced down at the wall and then back up at Gilgamesh with a smirk. "You can pull or you can push." One would make Tyrian his problem. The other would get him out of his hair. Tyrian was up for either, but that was getting a bit ahead of the situation. First they were going to have to find out if his answer was good enough for the pirate or if he was going to take offense.
